‘Temporary’ American Girl Stores Coming Back to Several Locations for the Holiday Season Including Pittsburgh Ross Park Mall

Last year American Girl launched several temporary stores in various cities across the USA.  These stores opened in September and October and stayed open until January, 2017.   This year they are doing this again.  Some have opened and some will open in October and will stay opened until the end of January, 2018.  This year there will be temporary stores in the following locations:

Austin (the Domain) open now till 1/28/2018 , Detroit (12 Oaks Mall) open now till 1/28/2018 , Indianapolis (Fashion Mall at Keystone) open now till 1/28/2018, Pittsburgh (Ross Park Mall) opens 10/7/2017 till 1/28/2018, Raleigh (Crabtree Valley Mall) open now till 1/28/2018 , Portland (Washington Square Mall) open now till 1/28/2018, Salt Lake City (City Creek Center) open now till 1/28/2018.

The store closest to me is the one in Pittsburgh, at the Ross Park Mall and it will open next weekend.  We took our daughter there last year and she was thrilled.

They are great stores and I love that they added temporary ones so girls who might not otherwise get a chance to shop at American Girl can get to a store!  My daughter was so excited (as you can hear in her giggle at the beginning of the video.)

Our local Pittsburgh store seems to be the only one not open yet.  When it does open they require you to have a ticket to get in and you can line up for a ticket beginning at 7am on the 7th and 8th.  They will also be doing drawings each day for a prize pack including: The Doll of the year:  Gabriela, her book, accessories, and a pet.

We will be heading over to the temporary Pittsburgh store in the Ross Park Mall sometime this season.  I will try to post new video and photos when we do.  I’m really looking forward to seeing Nanea in person.  My daughter just wants to go to an American Girl Store again.
