Rooster Teeth INSIDER: gen:LOCK Failure, Mismanagement Led to LAYOFFS!

1

After Rooster Teeth announced it was laying off 13% of its staff, a former staffer came to us anonymously with information that might shed some light on just how DIRE things really are over there. The anonymous tipsters blames crunch time and Gray Haddock’s mismanagement of gen:LOCK on the company’s current financial woes. While we can’t verify the information is 100% accurate, we can verify the employee did work for Rooster Teeth.

  1. I wonder about them becoming part of CN? I think the earlier reports of CN needing to be concerned are correct. CN will probably become part of Warner Bros. Animation and Warner’s Animation Group.

AT&T doesn’t seem to like those properties originally owned by Turner. So those sub are the ones being restructured the most.

RT on the other side, comes from Otter Media, who directly reports to WarnerMedia (CN is under Warner Bros Entertainment)and were originally started by AT&T. Which is all about streaming and OTT.

With Dean already temporary head, I am sure it will become official—Ellation Studios absorbing RT.
