Spider-Man #1 BEATEN by Spawn #300?! How Embarrassing for Marvel Comics!

0

Spider-Man #1 by J.J. Abrams and Son was NOT the top selling comic book of September 2019… it was Todd McFarlane’s Spawn #300. Whoah, I don’t know if too many people saw THAT coming. And why wasn’t Spider-Man #1 promoted heavily by mainstream media, given its Hollywood connections? Did Marvel expect it to sell itself? Was this C.B. Cebulski’s touted “1 Million” issue seller?
